J.K. Adams:

For nearly 60 years, J.K. Adams has manufactured wooden products of exceptional quality in its factory in Dorset, Vermont. They begin with the finest Northeastern kiln dried lumber and combine function, aesthetics and manufacturing techniques to create products that last a lifetime. J.K. Adams uses lumber that is selectively harvested from managed forests where the trees are cut to make room for more trees to grow. The company has always operated with a simple code of conduct. Painted on large signs that hang from the factory ceilling are three short phrases: "Quality first, Production next, Safety always." These guidelines, combined with an insistence on treating employees, customers, and vendors with complete honesty, respect, and fairness sums up the way they do business. The number of customers and employees who have remained loyal to J.K. Adams for over 40 years is testimony to the fact that their approach works.
